Greetings to all our friends and of course to the greatest airsoft team in the planet!
“TEAM SOE. The Strategic Operations Executives.”
(Mga executives na hindi naka-neck tie pero ayaw patalo sa mga battlegear porma nila.Hehehe)
I would simply like to like to express my sincere thanks for all your years of service as well as the warm acquaintances we all share with each other in and outside the battlefield both from “back in the days” and of course til’ present. You all have truly earned my respect and thank you for being there for selflessly serving everyone, newbies, semi-newbies, kunwari-newbies, long time airsoft addict players and non-gun owning members like Bubuy.
Truly our team has grown, and grown it has in mega proportions for the past 5 years and ten months to be exact. I remember when the team started in 2002 with 2 members, me and Sax followed by color designated squads. SOE Green, Red, Black and the infamous Gold squad of Neil Almighty, Sabre7, John Certeza and Bubuy. During those years it was evident that we were SOE simply because we got into airsoft and we truly love the game. We did airsoft because it was fun and we wanted to meet and enjoy an honest “No Zombie, No hit calling pure enjoyment policy games” of course with other teams in the metro. Hence the slogan- “SOE Airsoft. Its all about unity and fun” and we did it sa “The Mall” game site where we met a lot of friendly teams.
Then followed into the unity and fun culture the other teams such as STARS with Sid, Rico Saltwater, J2, Scorpion Rules, nagkaroon pa ng Da Squad ni Andre, Force One Squad na mga call boys and call girls na sa gabi (call center) nagtratrabaho at puyat pag naglaro sa umaga tulad nila Aksyonstar, Team Halo with the Duty Free guys na madalas magdala ng imported na alak, Lost Boys nila Richmond and Getty na ngayon may airsoft shop na, Trojans na taga PAGCOR, Hammerheads na Special Forces at todo and mga porma’t gamit, at nagkaroon pa ng Pink Squad na puros mga cool airsoft girls. Welcome nga pala sa bagong Squadron Supreme ni Seth Gecko ng Marikina. In fact if we were o look at the SOE forums total membership were now at 500 members. That’s a lot of members! Like our friend Sid used to say “We treat our members all the same with equal treatment and privileges” because in this cool team we have no Generals nor Privates in the ranks. Everyone is Special Forces, go anywhere, play anywhere and we all treat everyone Special. All we ask is that each member represent the team well when you go out and enjoy the game.
Besides the Squads we have also been in unity with a lot more other teams all over the Philippines Northern Alliance of Papa Jun, Semper fi of Pampanga, PINAS and even Atty. Tiki’s UAA to mention a few. In fact, our unity and fun culture has also spread as far as the US particularly the Hagibis Airsoft team in Los Angeles who recognizes SOE as an affiliate. Having met and played with them when I came to visit since 2004.
Truly so much has happened amid many changes that have occurred. We have evolved, and we are still evolving. “Doing away with the old and onto the new”. But irregardless of these changes, after all has been said and done. I would like to honor “YOU” as a member of Team SOE for allowing these relationships to continue to grow.
Its such an honor to have you as part of Team SOE… na kahit naglalaro o hindi na naglalaro ang mga myembro natin ay ganun pa rin ang turing nating lahat na pagkakaibigan. Kahit yung iba nag move-on na sa ibang hobby o sport. Pagnagkikita-kita tayo sa labas ay ganun pa rin ang respeto natin sa isat-isa. Kung may nangangailangan, nandun tayo para tumulong, kung meron isa sa atin nasasaktan o sinasaktan andyan tayo para tumulong para ayusin ang problema at kung meron din mga sakuna andyan din tayo para makiramay. Saan ka pa makakahanap ng airsoft team na ganyan? Kung meron man I’m simply glad that SOE is definitely one of them.
After all these 5 years I’am proud to be a member of this cool, fun loving airsoft team.
Kaya sa lahat ng mga ka teamates ko na every week naglalaro, gusto uli maglaro, nangangako mag laro, naglalaro walang sariling baril, matagal na hindi na naglalaro at sa mga nagbenta na ng kanya kanyang baril at mga ayaw na talaga maglaro ng airsoft…
Mabuhay Tayong Lahat! Maraming maraming salamat sa inyong pagmamahal sa isa’t-isa mula noong namulat tayo sa baril-barilan hanggang sa ibang baril barilan na ang inaatupag natin.
Our united friendships will always be the backbone of our team, and as always; SOE was, is and forever will be about Unity and Fun. (In and outside the airsoft battlefield)
